How We Get The Best Fried Fish!
The mild flavor of walleye is ideal for fish fries, allowing the breading and seasonings to stand out. In this air fried recipe, walleye is first coating in flour, followed by egg and then a mixture of Panko breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper. This 3-step coating allowing the breading to adhere and achieve a crispy, golden brown outside as it air fries.
Like any delicious fish fry, a tangy tartar sauce accompanies the fish for dipping. We also love this recipe served alongside creamy coleslaw, potato chips or French fries for a complete meal.
