How To Air Fry!
When it comes to air frying, temperature and time are crucial. A high enough temperature is necessary to crisp the bacon, but you don’t want to overlook the scallops which can ruin their tender texture. We find that 375F for 10 minutes does the trick, but you may need a couple extra minutes depending on your air fryer.

It’s also important to rotate the scallops halfway through cooking for crisp bacon all around each scallop. We also recommend using a traditional or thin cut bacon over thick cut. This allows the bacon to crisp up quicker, so the scallops aren’t overcooked.

All About The Sauce!
Although these bacon wrappers scallops pack plenty of flavor on their own, we paired them with a simple honey mustard sauce for dipping. Tangy Dijon compliments the richness of the bacon and goes great with scallops. A touch of honey adds balance.
Ingredients

8 Sizzlefish Scallops
4 Strips Thin Cut Bacon
Parsley for garnishing
1/3 cup Dijon Mustard
1 tbsp Honey
For Scallops
For Honey Dijon Sauce
Directions
Preheat air fryer for 3 minutes at 375ºF.
Slice each strip of bacon in half. Wrap bacon around scallops and secure with a toothpick. Spray the basket of air fryer with cooking spray and place scallops in basket.
Air fry at 375ºF for 6 minutes. Turn scallops and air fry for 4 minutes longer or until bacon is crisp.
While scallops cook, stir together honey and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Serve scallops hot garnished with parsley and honey Dijon sauce for dipping.
Recipe Note
This recipe can easily be doubled for feeding larger amounts of people. Just be sure to air fry in batches to avoid overcrowding.
