This Honey Mustard Salmon recipe is a quick, easy, and delicious meal! Rich succulent salmon fillets are baked to perfection in a deliciously sweet honey mustard sauce. This is the perfect flavor combination!
Here at Sizzlefish, our wild-caught salmon contains the highest levels of Omega-3 levels which are known to improve heart health, lower blood pressure and improve HDL levels. Our salmon also provides antioxidants such as taurine and heart-healthy vitamin B12. It also contains selenium (shown to promote healthy brain function and support the immune system) and packed with protein which facilitates muscle growth.
We leave the skin on the bottom of each salmon fillet because some of the highest omega-3 levels are found in the flesh next to the skin. Cooking the salmon fillet with the skin side down as it finishes will help keep it moist throughout, for a perfect presentation.
Our salmon fillets have a beautiful red color and rich, fresh flavor. The high healthy fat content of our salmon fillets is the perfect complement to the sweet tangy glaze you get from the honey mustard sauce. Pretty perfect, right? We love the ease of this recipe too. After a busy day at work, the last thing you want to do is head to the kitchen for a long process of cooking. This recipe for Honey Mustard Baked Salmon is as simple as stirring together the sauce, coating the salmon fillets, and then baking them. This delicious wholesome meal can be on the table in just 20 minutes! You really can’t beat that. We also went for a simple approach for the meal. We paired the salmon fillets with a fresh green salad. There is a little bit of the sauce that naturally cooks down off the sides of the fillets. We simply scooped that into a little bowl, added a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and used that for our salad dressing. You could also make a little extra sauce and save it as your dressing too. You’re definitely going to want some extra sauce. Trust us. Enjoy!
