Wild Alaska King Crab Legs are such a show stopper! These mouthwatering delicacies are easy to prepare and full of beautifully tender white meat. These are a rare treat and so perfect for any special occasion.
Here at Sizzlefish, our Wild Alaska King Crab Legs are from the Alaska Red King Crab caught in the frigid waters of the Bering Sea. These are the largest and most sought after of the Alaska crabs. The legs are large, bright red with darker highlights around the spine and tips. Each Wild Alaska King Crab Leg is packed full of rich, delicious, tender white crab meat.
Have you ever walked past a case in the seafood counter and wondered what those large spiny legs are and what in the world to do with them? Well, look no further, we are going to help you with this so you can wonder no more AND enjoy all the deliciousness that the Alaskan King Crab Legs has to offer. There’s no way around it, Alaska King Crab Legs are for special occasions. Since they are such a rare delicacy they tend to carry a pretty hefty price tag. That’s exactly why you should skip them in the restaurants and enjoy them at home. We completely understand that they can be a bit intimidating to work with at home but trust us, there is nothing to be afraid of here. Alaskan King Crab Legs are incredibly easy to prepare and truthfully better if you keep things simple.
The King Crab Legs come precooked, so that means no fuss for the meal. They come this way to preserve the freshness of the meat and ensure that you are eating them at their best. We stayed with the classic approach here by steaming them and let the deliciousness of the crab meat speak for itself. We simply love the pairing of warm melted butter with a fresh squeeze of lemon with our crab legs. You don’t need any special equipment to cut into them either. Armed with a good pair of kitchen shears, all you have to do is crack the legs at the joint, pull them apart and cut along the open end. This releases the leg as a whole piece and you are left with a moist succulent piece of meat to enjoy. Trust us, you will not be disappointed with this meal.
