Is Halibut Good In An Air Fryer?
The air fryer is a handy kitchen gadget that cooks food to a crispy, golden goodness without using a ton of oil. It’s a healthier option to frying and allows the fat to drip down instead of pooling around the food like you might experience from baking. You can cook just about any protein in an air fryer—from perfectly cooked steaks to shrimp and salmon. This recipe uses our Alaskan halibut that air fries tender and crisp around the edges.
Learn About Our Halibut!
Here at Sizzlefish, our halibut is wild caught in the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska, off Baranof Island. Halibut is carefully selected to yield perfectly tender, flaky fillet that is mild in flavor. The fillets are individually packaged in 4-ounce portions. Alaskan halibut is naturally lean and loaded with protein. Halibut is a terrific source of immune-system supporting vitamin-D. It’s naturally low in carbohydrates and calories, making this the perfect recipe for low carb and keto lifestyles. Its neutral flavor can be paired with any seasonings and provides texture while letting the spices shine. This recipe uses smoked paprika, garlic, salt and pepper for a simple recipe that is delicious over rice pilaf, on tacos, or with a side of grilled vegetables. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice adds tangy brightness that is a match made in halibut heaven.
