Sweet and Spicy Red Grouper
This Sweet and Spicy Garlic grouper is a healthier take on the usual fried grouper you get in restaurants. Quick, easy, juicy and incredibly flavorful this recipe is perfect for when you want that restaurant cooked flavor, but want to stay in for a home cooked meal. This dish is the best of both worlds.
Known for its mild sweet, firm white flesh, grouper is the perfect complement to the sweet and spicy flavors in this silky sauce. Sizzlefish grouper is wild caught in the Florida Gulf as part of the sustainably-managed fishery. Red grouper is an incredibly versatile fish, great for grilling, sautéing, and baking.
Now for this recipe…trust us, you will not be disappointed. Don’t be afraid of the list of ingredients either. This recipe really does come together in no time. Breading the grouper fillets on the top without dipping them in the bread crumbs makes life easier and the sauce comes together while the fish bakes. We highly recommend making extra sauce to have on hand for later. It pairs incredibly well with sautéed veggies and any protein when you want a quick Asian inspired meal. The mixture of sweet and spicy in the sauce pair incredibly well with the sweetness of the grouper. The crispy topping soaks up that voluptuously smooth sauce…MMMMM! This Sweet and Spicy Garlic Red Grouper will quickly become a family favorite!
